principals

Principals Paula Frazier (PVES), Marcy Williams (PKVES), and Larry Shifflett (SRES)

Congratulations to Peak View Elementary School, Pleasant Valley Elementary School, and South River Elementary School for earning the 2014 Title I  Distinguished School Award.  Thank you for your dedication and hard work in this amazing achievement, especially in light of the increased rigor and new SOL assessments.  We appreciate your exemplary accomplishments and expertise.

This recognition is based on student achievement during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school years.  A school receives this distinguished award for achieving a mean score at the 60th percentile for both English and mathematics; for meeting full accreditation for a minimun of two consecutive years; and for meeting or exceeding the annual measurable objectives (AMOs) for all students and for each subgroup for the current year and for the previous year.
